Thai Ladyboys – Katoeys

Who makes up these titles? Is there even one native English speaker in the group that can say – uhm, hey – that makes no sense at all…

Apparently not.

There was a swimsuit competition of 30 Thai ladyboys in Pattaya. I caught some of it on TV last night. There were a number of katoeys that looked heaps better than the 20 year old girl that won (#13). How she won – I won’t guess.

Ladyboys are really funny to watch strut around… it’s a game to them sure, but it’s still so funny to see them prancing around like little princesses.

This is something I’ve mentioned at least once before here that I can remember about the uncanny knack ladyboys have for something.

A ladyboy could be across the street, bent over sweeping with a short broom in her milk & dessert store and STILL notice a guy looking at her when the guy flies by at 90km per hour in the lane of traffic opposite to the one next to her store.

The LAF is uncanny. It’s amazing… and it means a couple things:

1. This ladyboy is available if you want to travel down that route.
2. This ladyboy has worked in one of the three P’s.

• Pattaya
• Patong Beach
• Patpong

The guy flying by on the motorbike was me. I’ve seen this ladyboy many times – and still hadn’t figured out yet if she was a he. So, as I no more than glanced over, she immediately turned her head and stared at me go by – and there was eye contact even through 30 meters and 90kph speeds.

Ladyboys are AMAZING at this. They need to be. If you are walking the streets of Patong Beach where the girls outnumber the ladyboys 10 to one or more you’ll be able to notice girls that are working and ladyboys that are available. The reason is – they are looking to make eye contact with you. Once that’s accomplished – you can count on it right there – the girl/guy is available.

Though bargirls have it, the ladyboys have evolved this radar perfectly – they can see someone checking them out in a crowd of 100 people, and if the one you’re looking at in particular doesn’t see you looking, her friend WILL – 100%, without fail. AND, they can discrimate even through tens of meters – which one exactly you’re looking at. They’re amazing at this.

Anyway, just wanted to comment about this a little more in-depth.

Thai girls that never worked a bar don’t know what it is to make long eye-contact with a foreigner – or a Thai. I must re-qualify that… outside of Isaan. In Isaan people stare at you like you’re god… less than 1% of all tourists to Thailand visit the Northeast, so you can see why.

To identify a Thai ladyboy can sometimes be accomplished by looking for an adam’s apple. Some use tracheal shaving to lessen it’s appearance, but often times ladyboys use scarves, chokers, or always have their hands over their adam’s apple to avoid being discovered.

Just a clue – might work, might not. More tips to follow.

In Isaan there is a secondary school that created a ladyboy restroom for students after a survey of students found 200 ladyboys out of 2600 students! That’s almost 8% of the school’s population!  If we generalize that to the population of Thailand that would mean there are around 5 MILLION THAI LADYBOYS in Thailand. Is that possible? I think possible, yes. Likely – no. I think there must be a million though – a very sizeable amount!

The ladyboy toilet is marked by a sign on the door – half man in blue and half woman in red. Apparently nobody questions kids at the entrance to the facilities to ascertain if they’re man-woman-or ladyboy. Maybe they should.

I’m unclear by the article if “Kampang” is the name of the school or the city this school is in. Do they mean, Kamphaengphet, a city about 360 km east of Bangkok?

Apparently this is not the first instance of ladyboy designated restrooms… a tech school in Chiang Mai created a “Pink Lotus” restroom for fifteen of it’s ladyboy students five years prior to this.

Some Soi Katoey and other Thailand Soi katoeys (Sukumvit for instance) Thai ladyboy videos. I have a lot of great photos coming up that you probably haven’t seen yet, some I KNOW you haven’t seen yet. I am taking the results of the poll to heart and starting to post more photos and videos since that seems to be what everyone wants. Walk from Soi7 to Soi5 in Sukhumvit Bangkok A walk from Soi 7 to Soi 5, Sukhumvit Bangkok, through the famous Blade Runner Alley. Not sure what this means – was blade runner filmed in Thailand? That was a nutty movie. I need to see that movie again…

Now, I THINK that this is the Thailand-famous world-famous Thai ladyboy, Areeya. I am not sure… I have a number of photos of her that I’ve taken and that I’ve found on other sites – and she has a very unique look – and devastatingly hot in the photos and videos. Now, that said, you can’t tell me that Areeya’s luscious ladyboy lips aren’t hot… can you?  But, the question is… does she get beard growth?
