Thai Ladyboys – Katoeys

This guy had a bad experience – like many of us do if walking around where the ladyboys run the streets. There are a few places that I don’t particularly like to walk because I KNOW I’ll be accosted and hands trying to go through my pockets. I have come very close to belting a ladyboy in the mouth. Rather than go to jail and pay for reconstructive surgery to her/his face – I resisted everytime. I don’t blame someone that does it though. Ladyboys are men. Men going through your pockets. It is criminal, and it’s something that we as tourists shouldn’t let happen. A few aggressive ladyboy theives busted in the mouths might make for a better experience for hundreds of thousands of guys in Pattaya that this happens to on a yearly basis.

I am writing in response to a letter you published by Mr Michael Griller. I would just like to say to Mr Griller that whilst I have not studied the ladyboy situation in Pattaya, I have however experienced the harassment they can cause.

I object to being attacked by one of these confused people as I simply make my way back to my hotel after a night out!

I was fortunate in that I managed to fend off this unprovoked attack, but it was not thanks to the watching baht-bus drivers and motorcycle taxi drivers who were close by and quite happy to watch it all happen.

Anyway that’s me finished with Pattaya, I will not be coming back here again. All the good memories I had of Thailand have been removed after this one incident, and I feel sorry for all the good people of Pattaya of which I know there are many who I will not have the pleasure of seeing in the future.

I’ve not had a bad experience in over a year, but I am not living anywhere near where the ladyboy thieves congregate – which is typically at the beaches in Pattay and Patong. During late night hours they are ravenous like wolves and will stalk guys walking alone! It’s happened to me MANY times in Patong and Pattaya!

Anyway – I’ll try to detail these crimes as they happen on this site as well as bring up more from the past that have happened. There’s been some good ones over the years.

ANOTHER LADYBOY PICKPOCKET
steals tourists wallet in Pattaya Beach.
Early one morning the police were called in regards to a complaint by a German national, Mr. Karl Schanetzky who stated that he was robbed of his wallet during a grope right before he made it back to his hotel. This guy lost a couple credit cards and 1,000 Thai baht.

Mr. Schanetzky had been drinking on “Walking Street” and he was buzzing pretty good – enough to be walking unsteadily. The ladyboy groped him and told him that she’d like to accompany him back to his room for some action. The guy wasn’t THAT drunk – as he realized it was a man and he refused.

He noticed the wallet missing back at the hotel.

This guy was 59 – so they say, if you look at the guy’s photo from Pattaya City News site I would guess 39. 59? Could that be true?

This incident goes right along with my explanation of how these things usually go down with ladyboys. The guy was going from “Walking Street” to a baht-bus and to his hotel. It was early morning and he was alone and drunk. This is a classic example of what not to do.

Two Thai ladyboys in the lovely city of PATTAYA (where else?) were recently found to be in posession of a number of tablets of Yaba (Crystal Meth, speed) and they’ll be spending quite a bit of time behind bars as a result. Can you imagine spending YEARS in a Thai jail as a Thai ladyboy? Wow, you’d be pimped by everyone. Not to joke about it, I feel genuinely sickened by the thought of people being put in jail because of what they choose to put in their mouths. That goes for sex offenses in the USA too (between consenting adults). Like public sex – I’m fine with.

Thailand’s drug policy is incredibly strict. These two ladyboys may spend over 10 years in jail and that is a short sentence… because they didn’ t have that much in their posession when caught.

Wait a second! Ahh HAH. There’s something here… in that general statement.

The Pattaya city news reported the amount they had as a “small quantity”. What does that mean? The guy they were with had 5 pills. The ladyboys – a small quantity. Is that one pill? 100? What is a small quantity?

I’ll tell you what it is – it’s a way for the police to lie about what the ladyboys had so they can get light sentences and do the cops a few favors over the next couple years. THAT’S what a small quantity is! Who is with me on this?

Am I making any SENSE to you people?

Anti-corruption! Anti-jail sentences for Thai ladyboys on yaba! Let’s march on the whitehouse…!

What color is the premier’s house here?

May be I m a little naive, but I think you’re over-interpreting that context. Doing favors for the police the next few years?- I m not sure if it’s really that way. But these days everything is possible. I rather think: Where would you end up if you had all criminals charged with minor offenses (like Yaba consumtion) behind bars for ten years. Would same as in the States where already a bi part of US-population in institutionalized for a long time.
What scares me a lot more is the thought of what happens to you as a ladyboy-individual in jail. Thai ladyboys are men by law and will do their time in men’s prisons. But maybe in special buildings seperated from the rest. I dont wanna try though.

I heard a story from a friend recently that I trust 100% – with my life I’d trust this guy. He told me that he has a friend, that I’ve not met (yet) that told him an amazing and sick thing happened to him over this past weekend in Patong Beach.

His friend was visiting from France and was staying for a few days before he went up to Phi Phi by ferry. He wanted to see the ladyboys of Patong and so naturally he headed to soi Bangla to watch the impromptu ladyboy a go-go on the stage on Soi Katoey. While he was there alone he had a great time and he said he really enjoyed the ladyboys. They enjoyed groping him too – and though there were too many people around for his comfort – he had a great time and wanted to take one of the really feminine ladyboys back to his hotel. He was just too embarrassed to do it in front of the hundred or so people around.

Like a lot of guys he decided he’d head down to Beach Road and find a ladyboy for the night. He walked down to beach road and heard some ladyboys callign from behind the wall at the beach. Their bodies were mostly hidden so he walked the whole way down to the sand. He was set upon by 3 ladyboys. They tore his shorts off him and one ladyboy got on him from behind and he felt he was being raped from behind with two ladyboys holding him down from the side and one on his back.

They also had taken his wallet out of his waist pack and found his 3 ATM cards.

While the ladyboy was raping him they said TELL US YOUR ATM CODES FOR THE CARDS.

He couldn’t believe what was happening.

THEY SAID IT OVER AND OVER then they ramped it up a notch…

THE man in your a** – he has HIV. He cum your a** if you don’t tell us the codes for your ATM cards! The guy was hyperventilating he told my friend as he was scared he was going to get AIDS and die all because he went to find a ladyboy in Patong for some oral magic!

The guy told them the passwords and they wrote them down – they had pen and paper ready – apparently they’ve done this same scenario before.

The guy on his back got off – and when the guy returned to his hotel room he said some fluid was coming out of him – but he thought maybe it was just KY or something else they squirted up there to prepare him for the rape.

The next morning he went to the banks and found he had lost 128,000 baht but they couldn’t get it all as they had just maxed out the limits on the cards and emptied one account. The other 2 still had some cash. The banks asked him for copy of police report – which he hadn’t filed because he was too embarrassed. He’s not gay and not bi.

He went to the hospital to have blood work done already – but of course it doesn’t show up for a long time. He’s scared to death my friend told me.

Are there extortionist ladyboy groups playing this sick game in Patong at the beach at night? If I didn’t know this guy so well and trust him so much I’d discount the story. I think his friend told him this story just as he relayed it to me. Was his friend making it up? What for? Why would he make up a story about it? He didn’t tell anyone else. He didn’t ask my friend for money. He didn’t seem to have any ulterior motives for making up a wildy distorted story to get attention since my friend is the only one he told.

The guy was only here for a few days. Supposedly he went to Phi Phi to finish his trip, but I wouldn’t think he’d care much about it anymore. I’d have gone back to France if it were me.

Anyone else having these bizarre ladyboy encounters on Beach Road in Patong?

Not every ladyboy in Thailand is beautiful. In fact, I would say 98% are not. However, when you have 10,000 ladyboys here – that means that 200 are beautiful.
It would just be “finding them” if that’s what you’re into.
