I don’t know why I said it that way, just feeling scrappy today after some visitors to my other blog posted funny comments and got me all revved up. lol.
TOP LOCATIONS TO FIND LADYBOYS IN THAILAND:
1. Bangkok. Though I’ve seen only a few on Sukumvit Road supposedly the majority of ladyboys / katoeys are in Bangkok.
2. Patong Beach, Phuket. I think, and it’s only my guess… that there are more ladyboys in Patong Beach than there are in Pattaya, but I could be off on this one.
3. Pattaya. I just didn’t see that many in Pattaya. They might be more hidden. Soi 6 seems to be the major ladyboy/katoey hangout.
4. Chiang Mai. Though I’ve not been here I heard that there is a sizeable ladyboy population here.
5. Udonthani. This is the only other place I’ve seen a lot of ladyboys in one place. I’m not sure WHY they are there, but I’ve seen quite a few.
6. Hua Hin? I’ve seen groups of katoeys here
7. Ko Samui? Pha-ngan? I’ve seen some.
