Afghan judo coach loses to ladyboy

BANGKOK: The coach of the Afghan judo squad attending the Asian Martial Arts Games in the Thai capital was robbed of hundreds of thousands of baht after falling for a ladyboy he met in the notorious Nana Plaza adult entertainment complex.

Assaladee Sakala, 43, told police he and his team checked into the Grand Ayudhaya Hotel Bangkok in the Ratchada area and went looking for some female company.

He said he made some new female friends and took one of them back to his hotel room.

He poured two beers and left the room briefly to talk to a team mate.

When he returned, Mr Sakala and his girlfriend drank the beer at which point he started to feel sleepy.

The next thing he knew, it was 2pm the following day and his companion had vanished, along with all his valuables.

Mr Sakala told police the woman had stolen $US5,000 and 1,500 euros in cash, a gold ring, a gold wrist watch, a digital camera, and a digital voice recorder worth a combined total of more than 300,000 baht.

Funny how they knew which ladyboy it was – every decent hotel has video cameras on you as you come in – this lady boy didn’t know that? They’ll find her – she can only be one of 3 places – Bangkok, Pattaya, and Patong. No sense being anywhere else…

A story in “The Australian” highlights the cares that must be taken when coming to Thailand if you plan on taking ladyboys to your room.

1. If you a ladyboy steals something of national importance – like your notebook computer, you’re whole country is going to know you were banging ladyboys in Thailand. That is – if you report it exactly as it happened.

2. Insist on the hotel taking the ladyboy’s ID so you can identify her later.

THE Australian Defence Force is investigating a potential breach of national security after a naval officer in Bangkok was robbed of his Defence Department computer by a ladyboy he had brought back to his hotel room late at night.

Defence last night played down the security implications of the theft, saying the data in the laptop was of a low classification and it was password-protected.

The officer — named in a Thai police report as Lieutenant Commander Peter de Maskens, a qualified helicopter pilot who received the Order of Australia Medal in January — was in Bangkok on official business and had gone out for the night to the city’s Nana Plaza, an entertainment zone in the city full of go-go bars and where ladyboys also solicit in the streets.

After returning to the city’s Banyan Tree Hotel with his guest about 2.40am last Saturday, the officer blacked out inside the hotel room and did not wake up until 7am.

Meanwhile, his laptop, cash, a mobile telephone, two bags, an iPod, his passport and his credit cards had disappeared. He could not remember anything after entering his room. He is understood to have told colleagues that he thought his guest was a woman.

You mean this ladyboy walked out with 2 bags and the hotel employees didn’t STOP HER? No ladyboy walks around with bags – backpacks or whatever kind of bags they were. WTF?

The only lucky thing this guy had going for him is that it didn’t happen in Pattaya because the Pattaya City News would plaster his photo all over their story!

Another poor schlep hit rock bottom as he was robbed by a ladyboy in Pattaya as he slept – apparently (he thinks) the victim of a drug mixed with his drink to render him unconscious.

Does ANY farang in Pattaya read the news or listen to anybody about this same scenario going down every few DAYS? Don’t accept a drink from a Katoey. Don’t accept a drink from a bargirl. This same week – 4 Indian guys were robbed of 200,000+ baht of valuables ($5,000+ dollars) because ALL FOUR OF THEM TOOK DRINKS from their dates back at their room – they all passed out – and all lost a hell of a lot of stuff.

Think just a little bit people.

Are there only idiots in Pattaya? That’s been my idea for a number of years now and I’ve seen little to counter that. In fact, I’m going to go against my good judgment and generalize a bit…

I’d say that if you combined the IQ’s of all foreigners living in Pattaya or visiting Pattaya minus out the women, and average it – You’re going to get a number sub 90 points.

The victim of this ladyboy, Mr. Daniel Nowkel aged 20 (but looks 40)  explained to reporters that he picked-up the tranny on Walking Street and hit a hotel with her.

He lost a watch, cash, mobile and even his own passport.

Pattaya and Patong are two places you’ll find ladyboys in abundance at the beach road. Late at night it’s not recommended to walk along the Patong Beach road because ladyboy thieves come out of nowhere to harass you and try to steal your cash. They’re hyped up on crystal meth (ice, or as Thais’ say – Ya Ba, which means crazy drug).

If you found a bargirl that you’ve barfined, or a freelancer in the street, disco, whatever and she’s suggesting you go the beach for a quick oral session you have just found yourself a ladyboy. Girls don’t go to the beach at night for a quickie bj. They just don’t. Ladyboys will use this ploy to get you to complete the ‘transaction’ quickly and you’ll be none the wiser that she was a ‘he’.

The other reason a Thai ladyboy will try to get you to the beach for a quickie is that her friends are at the beach and they’re going to rob you blind.

Also be very adamant about not going back to the ladyboy’s room for anything because they have friends there hiding under the bed and in the closets that will grab your cash from your pockets as your pants hit the floor. It’s a well-established trick they use often. Not that Thai bargirls won’t use the same trick – but, they’re a little more afraid of getting caught by you. Thai Ladyboys aren’t.

Prisoner still at large, search called off

UPDATED: At 11:30 p.m., lawmen quit looking for Eugene Smith (with PHOTOS)

HOLT — A prisoner escaped here Wednesday after pepper-spraying a Georgia deputy and stealing his patrol car, lawmen say.

After an eight-hour search, lawmen called off the effort.

Eugene Smith, a 33-year-old man who looks like a woman, was being taken from Texas to Crisp County, Ga., for a nonviolent crime, said Okaloosa County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Michele Nicholson.

During a restroom break at about 3:30 p.m. at Brown’s Grocery off Interstate 10, Smith “apparently sprayed the officer in the face, then took his patrol car” and headed west on Highway 90 toward Santa Rosa County, Nicholson said.

“A major search has been taking place in Santa Rosa County this afternoon after a prisoner overpowered a Crisp County Georgia Sheriff’s Deputy and stole the police vehicle,” Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Scott Haines said in a release.

Nicholson said the deputy fired shots at the car, but didn’t know if Smith was hit. Haines said one bullet struck the car’s windshield.

This caught my eye and I had to blog it. Thai ladyboys commit crimes, but they’re basically harmless at least compared to other ladyboys in America! This looks like a BIG Ladyboy, yes?

Here in Thailand the ladyboys will go through your pockets and maybe slip a roofie in your drink to rob you as you sleep. There have been rumors going around that a number of Thai katoeys are actually murdering tourists that come to Pattaya and Patong Beach – but, that’s speculation. There’s always been this idea that bar girls and katoeys were murdering tourists to Thaialand and doing it in a way that’s a bit mysterious. Makes it look like natural causes. Who knows. Probably happening to a small degree.

Watch yourself! Here’s an article about a foreigner living in Thailand that had a Thai girl and then started dating another – I think at the same time. The new ho brought her boyfriend over to his place and they stabbed the hell out of him to get him to open a safe he must have stupidly showed her at some point.

See the ho and her boyfriend actually smiling as they park the motorbike on the way up to the room to stab this guy to get his cash? Are they a couple of PSYCHOs or WHAT?  Land of Smiles – they’re anticipating the cash I guess. This photo came from a security camera at the guy’s apartment complex.

Never never never NEVER let anyone know how much money you have here in Thailand. The mind gets to churning and eventually you end up dead because either the girl or ladyboy you’re banging gets greedy or her boyfriend or family does. The end result is same – you might end up dead over 50,000 baht. What’s that, $1,666 usd?  Life is cheap here in the land of smiles. Be careful!
